How do I choose the right product for my child?
Finding the perfect product for your child is a simple 4 step process: 1. To select the right sleep garment for your child, identify their developmental stage first. Is your baby still in the newborn swaddling stage? Select one of our Swaddle Up™ products. Has your child shown signs of trying to roll over, then choose one of our Transition Bags/Suits. If your child is already mobile and on the move then our Sleep Bags and Sleep Suits are right for you. 2. Once you’ve determined the right developmental stage, you need to determine the room temperature of the room your child sleeps in. Based on that temperature you can choose the right TOG and fabric grade. 3. Select from a number of fabrics, prints, colours. 4. Choose your child’s size.
What is a TOG?
A TOG Rating is a number which tells you how warm a garment will keep your baby. The higher the number, the warmer your little one will be when wearing the garment. This means higher TOG ratings keep your baby warm during colder winter months, while lower TOG ratings keep your baby cool in the hotter summer season. What is the 3-stage sleep system?
Our 3-stage safe sleep system™ is designed to support your child's sleep routine from newborn to four years old. Stage 1 Newborn Swaddling = Swaddle Up™, recommended from birth. Stage 2 Ready To Roll = Transition Bags and Suits, recommended for 3-12 months. Stage 3 On the Move = Sleep Bags and Suits, recommended for 6 months-4 years.
What is Stage 1?
Stage 1: Newborn (0-3 months). Stage 1 is designed for newborns from 0-3 months. At this stage, babies are adjusting to life outside the womb, and it's crucial to provide them with a sense of security. Our Stage 1 products, such as the Swaddle Up™ Original, feature an innovative arms-up design that allows your baby to sleep in a more natural position, while still providing the snugness they need to feel safe and secure. This helps to reduce the startle reflex and promotes better sleep for your newborn. What is Stage 2?
Stage 2: Transition (3-6 months). Stage 2 is perfect for babies transitioning from swaddling to independent sleep.
